NASA's CO2 satellite

I don’t know if this has been brought up here before but I found this interesting. It is a mission by NASA called OCO to study CO2 in the Earth’s atmosphere; i.e. where it is being produced and where the major CO2 sinks are. Hopefully when finished it will bring some better definition to the interminable climate change arguments. Finding these sinks and quantifying their contribution is important because they need to be protected.
