Driver dies dodging breath test
POLICE are investigating the death of a motorist who died in a fireball after speeding away from a police random breath testing unit 140km south of Perth.
Police were conducting an RBT on Goldfields Road, near Boddington, when the driver did a u-turn and sped away, PerthNow reports.
Police gave chase but a short time later the car was found smashed into a tree and engulfed in flames.
The fire was so intense that police officers were unable to retrieve the driver from the car.
Police have so far been unable to identify the car or the driver.
