I don't know anyone who HASN'T been touched by this economy.
Whether they've just lost half of their retirement funds, or their jobs are in jeopardy (that is those that haven't already lost them), or their adjustable rate mortgages soar after the new year; ALL I know have had to pare down and are holding tight.
