I offer this observation...but strictly from my point of view.

Except for the fact that they are both women, it appears we are talking about apples and oranges.

Caroline definitely lacks her fathers' charm... Palin has charisma.

Not being versed in the issues is not being versed in the issues. Republicans and Democrats alike.
Too brief answers is too brief answers. Republicans and Democrats alike.

One is from the wilds of Alaska, and from what I have read, Alaskans are the last frontiersmen. They are a different breed...rough around the edges....and from what I have read...Sarah is middle income.
One is refined and has been hand fed and raised by a dynasty of politicians...with ridiculous amounts of money.
Carolines' style will be quiet, and reserved. Sarah's is more extroverted and opinionated.
They both need classes in facing the media. Caroline is very private...Sarah has been sequestered by demographics. Neither has been given a chance..and arguably they both need more seasoning.

Time will tell.
