Patrick Fitzgerald already is very unbiased in this and on the case. Obama had no need to do any investigation at all. It all would have come out anyway.
Obviously, from the transcripts we've heard snippets of, Blagojevich held Obama's team in considerable disdain because they didn't want to play his game. Contact therefore is immaterial in my mind unless Fitzgerald uncovers something else. All indications are he's not headed that way.
