I can go into a machine shop and churn out
a nice crude but deadly shotgun in less than three hours if I wanted to.
Give me a day or two, and with blueprints
I could obtain VERY EASILY, I could make
a fully functional Sten submachinegun [cyclic rate, 600 rounds per minute].
In Belgium, It wouldn't be hard to find an old man
who lived under the Nazis who did just that.
But on a personal note...I have sworn not to purchase,
make, or acquire any firearm for the simple reason:
I don't need them...Why?
But only a fool would feel safe in a fascist country [or a police state; little difference] that would ban or license DEADLY devices, instruments or tools.
With the palm of my hand, I could kill someone
in a second. I know how to.
With a grinding wheel and a flat, long piece of tempered steel
I could make a very effective piece of 'cutlery' that would lop off your
head in the blink of an eye.
You don't have to fear me, Raoul...But fear someone who
knows what I know....They are in every society.

Should we license KNIVES, AXES, HAMMERS, and anything that can kill?
