F-14 or F-16?
I used to have F-15's taking off over my trailer every morning when I lived on the air base in England. One of 'em slid off the runway one day and into a farmer's muddy field. Brought in a crane to lift it out. Idiot officer was directing things (NEVER let an officer within a mile of something taking techie skills) and the crane ended up in the mud, tipped over. Then they had to get a crane to get the crane out and finally the F-15. We laughed our asses off. The 2nd crane operations director was an NCO. He got the job done.
