I would call having to accept the existence of beings that live in another dimension...

who believe in them have to do so on faith a religion.
If they exist and we can't capture or interact with them in any
meaningful way, what is the point? You want people to believe in
this because you think it will open their minds. What it will really do
is just open up more fuzzy-headed thinking and we do not need a world
with even more people who fall for just about anything.
Besides, real Men in Black use neuralizers to make people forget what
they saw, not threats.
