"Unemployment Hits 7.2%, 16-Year High", which was the end of the GHW Bush Administration.
What a coincidence. I mean, what are the odds? The last time things were this bad was at the end of the last Bush presidency. Those Conservatives seem to have a knack.
"With the recession in full swing, the nation’s employers shed 524,000 jobs in December, the government reported Friday, and a rapidly deteriorating economy promised more significant losses in the months ahead. December’s job losses brought the total for 2008 to 2.6 million, spanning a recession that started 12 months ago."
What is it that Conservatives find so attractive about high unemployment? Probably that people who have to put food on their families will work for about anything. Sort of like Costa Rico, Nicaragua, those places.
