My concern is that an individual or group of fanatics will try to make
Doomsday 2012 happen for real, or even just enough to ruin everyone's
nice day.
There were a group of Christian fundies who tried to stir up trouble in
Israel in 2000 to bring about the Apocalypse. Fortunately the Israelis
know how to deal with zealots and arrested them before they could do
anything serious.
