Focus on the positive, on the part where you're wrong. :-)
In a more serious vein, what did Bush do right? What did he do right that isn't eclipsed by what he did wrong by several orders of magnitude? If one were looking to find what he did right where would one look?
The biggie, no terrorists attacks on American soil, overlooks that he was the last person who could have prevented 9-11. His NSA said, "Who would have thought?" when everyone was thinking. It also overlooks bin Laden's goal, which was to draw America into a war in the Middle East, where they could fight it.
The only other thing is aid to Africa to fight AIDS. I know the first billion was a loan to the governments which could be used to purchase AIDS drugs only from American pharmaceutical companies at prices very close to full retail. The subsequent aid may have been more generous, but I'm sure is tied to purchasing drugs at very close to the exhorbitant retail prices.
So help me I don't know what he did "right". You'll have to help me there, and I hope you can.
