We were sold on the Shuttle as a "space truck". In fact, it turned out to be a highly expensive and low performance vehicle, as temperamental as a Lamborghini, with as much luggage space, and the performance of a 50cc motorcycle.
Perhaps a "Space Wheelbarrow" would be a better description:-
Q:- What do you call a space vehicle with opening payload doors?
A:- A skip...
Q:- Why does the Shuttle have seven crew?
A:- So that 6 of them can get out and push on the hills...
