Friend shanghied me today and took me to an unusual place in Mississippi. Pretty nice joint with a back room for gambling. It was laid out almost like a cockfighting arena but you overlook a large area with a plywood bottom with numered squares.
Place your bet on a number and soon they brought out a chicken that proceeded to cluck and strut about the board. When the chicken shit on a number the game was over (it doesn't take long) and the bets were settled. Clean up, bet again, and repeat
