Most of the cost is in dealing with crowd control and tight security.
The inaugural balls and other stuff are paid for by donations and not taxpayer funded.
We do have the right to see our President inaugurated so you can't do away with the crowds and we'd like to keep him alive so you can't do away with the security.
What we can do away with is your constant carping.
