Looking for Flight 1549's engines on the bottom of the Hudson.

"Riverbottom scoured as investigators aim to remove airliner from water."

The Hudson in this area is classified as a deepwater port, and ABC news said where the plane went down it's 58 feet deep. I realize sonar is utilized while looking for those engines and things like it. Sooner or later someone will have to drag their big pink body down through that "river" and retreive an engine. And then do it again. It will not be my big pink body.

Can you imagine heading off 58 feet to the bottom of the Hudson River? I imagine groves of skeletons, their feet encased in concrete, sinuously swaying in the current, banks of tires, auto bodies with and without residual drivers, and that's if you could see. (I realize skeletons wouldn't hold together, the drivers would be a pile of bones, I understand that. It's my imagination which sees those things, and that's what I have to deal with.)

Add a few more heroes to this event - the poor bastards who have to go down 58 feet, or so, and get those engines.

We need to cook Canada's goose!
