Space/Science » in reply to re: A truly Earth-sized exoplanet found?

The exoplant is about the same distance as Venus

But the star it orbits is a red dwarf, so take that into account when
wondering about any life on it.

Of course the main interest in this find is that the alien world is just a
little bit bigger than Earth, which at least means there are worlds out
there similar to ours in size at least. And the planet is not orbiting in
just a few days around its sun, so that is another bonus in the quest
to eventually find Earthlike worlds with life.
