Most of the discussions on there are civil and educational and they don't allow trolls to hijack the central theme of the discussion. That's why you don't like it. Your tactics are disruptive and would never be allowed. They'd require you also to back up your assertions with other than circular logic. (ie: Bush is doing the right thing because the department website under his administration's control has charts to back it up.)
As long as the "central theme" remains one of the cherished premises of the Left, everything is fine on Kos. Most of the "vicious fights" are about details on how leftist policies should be enacted or whether or not someone is leftist enough. As with most leftist "diversity," you have a lot of people who look and dress differently all marching in lockstep. If you have a counterexample where a serious philosophical difference is actually displayed and treated to serious discussion, feel free to link to it.
I've been on such boards before, and "troll" is defined as "anyone who disagrees with us."
As for "circular logic," you might note that those are Obama's departments now. Unless you think someone is going through and changing all the numbers as I speak, the old "every government statistic in existence is part of the Bush conspiracy" gag isn't going to work any more.
