The Green Zone is being handed over to Iraqi control.

Cops wear body armor in American cities, and for the same reasons. Four Americans died of hostile action in Iraq in January. That's two fewer than died in vehicle accidents over there.

The military victory happened a while ago. Political victory is still under way. You did notice the election?

You lost this one, Bowser. Not only has Iraq greatly improved, but it did so after the Democratic Party and the Left in this country did their damnedest over the past two years or more to sabotage the effort. They'll be doing the same thing now with Afghanistan.

The American Left will spend the next twenty years pointing out each bank robbery, bomb blast, and every incident of political conflict as "proof" of the "failure" of Iraq. Nobody will care, any more than they do about their pronouncements of Cuba's achievements.
