They were planning a 12-night, pricey Las Vegas casino trip for 1,000 employees and guests...
After initial criticism of this use of taxpayer bailout money, Wells Fargo actually defended the junket, saying, "Oh, it's just part of our culture".
Now, though, it looks like they're having 2nd thoughts - lawmakers are starting to give them hell, and the company may reconsider or scale back the event...
