Frank, I don't find Bowser's politcs offensive

although I do find him over the top and unbalanced at times such as on this current issue. I also believe Israel is overstepping the response but I also acknowledge the motivation behind that response. Both sides are guilty of continually ramping up the violence.

Why I am not as critical of Bowser as you and others on here is because I believe he is a classic individual that right or wrong always sticks up for the underdog. You cannot read his posts and not see that trend. While I think he's wrong to only put that stipulation on what side of an issue he falls on (sometimes the underdogs are pricks), I'd much rather throw my support behind someone or give them more leeway than if they always backed the stronger and more powerful side.

Despite individuals in Hamas being extremely evil and doing horrific things to Israeli civilians, the Israelis hold all the true military power in the region and could annihilate any opponent if they saw fit. Power that immense needs to controlled by rational individuals that use their brain more than just raw emotion. Clearly Israel is on that brink where that control is unstable. Bowser and other like him that shine the spotlight on the abuses of the entity with the overwhelming power are absolutely necessary in a process like this because it brings the macho and unthinking individuals out in the open to oppose them. When people see these folks foaming at the mouth calling for blood and revenge it shocks the more moderate of them and makes them politically active.

We saw a microcosm of that on here. We all play Bowser's role from time to time. I wish it were always confined to Flame.
