Saturday march 28 will be the Night of Darkness in my country! We are promoting the darkest night possible to bring up the issue of light pollution.

There are several reasons why this year is special:
The whole country takes part to it (Flanders, Brussels, Wallonia) and we do it together with the environment groups (that way we can always show the ground and its life and noises, even if the weather is not good).

It's the International Year of Astronomy and because I was involved in its preparations and the minister in from the same province my club is from (Namur) I got a phone call from her cabinet chief asking if she coudln't visit us during that night (I was quite surprised but at the planetarium, I had hints it could happen). So , I just sent a mail to her with all the details...
