Is it all history now?

I knew there was something wrong with GW, if not with his possible binge drinking then the amount of prescription drugs they were pumping into him to keep him sedated and half coherent. Whether it was Xanax or another potent sedative; there were months where he couldn't string two sentences together and looked like wired, zoned-out zombie.

Besides all that, we really have no idea if he was "trained" for his role and succumbed to some psychotherapists advanced techniques in brainwashing. It's possible he had a temper, like an overgrown brat used to getting his way, and he may have had real periods of mania.
I could see a few clues and it horrified me.

I was never so relieved to see him get on that helicopter on Inauguration Day and head off to his idyllic life with Barbara on their Crawford ranch. His eight years were a very sad part of American history.
