I mean, that's just shocking!
This whole debate reminds me of the Herman cartoon where a kid is sitting on a
couch watching television while holding two toy rifles one in each hand and has
two ammo belts strapped around his torso.
His mother happens to walk by behind him, looks at what he sees on the TV and
exclaims how that woman is only wearing a bikini - turn it off!
Sex isn't going to go away unless we do, so perhaps this society instead of doing its
usual puritanical oppression on the subject only to have it pop up elsewhere in very
unhealthy ways should start accounting for it and teaching children the reality of this
natural and very ancient function. I know it won't get everyone, but if we keep
telling them it's bad and wrong yet somehow everyone is doing it, then why bother
trying to declaim it at all?
And I kow one thing - kids sure have a LOT more access to far worse thanks to the
Internet than in my day, when I had to sneak a peek at a Playboy at the newsstand,
so society better start catching up with technology if they want to save little souls.
