Not everyone agrees with you (including people within your own party) that the AP's move from traditional journalism and unbiased straight fact reporting to the more gonzo style of sensationalism and editorial content of the their stories is such a good thing.

No longer can we count on the AP to just deliver news. Both sides of the political aisle routinely rant against their bias on one issue of the other. After reading posts on Kos complaining against the conservative slant to their stories (which was very apparent to me during the election) I was surprised when I did a Google search to find that there are even more conservatives upset with their sometimes liberal slant.

Here's a good story about the evolution. I don't think anyone should be celebrating their editorializing.
