It's an absolutely breathtaking invasion of privacy.
And it's hard to see how hacking into someone's voicemail and deleting messages (from a kidnapped girl's phone, of all things!) could be anything other than malicious, and possibly obstruction of a police investigation.
I'm sure a lot of people would like to see Murdoch's feet kicked out from under him. We'll have to see how far up this goes.
