Hurt. That's all some people know! How to hurt others, how to drive their morale, their self-esteem right into the ground.
Pain. They delight in causing pain, watching their victims writhe, squirm, suffer.
Agony. That's better seen, and watching seems to energize some people.
That's OK. I'll survive. Not as well, certainly not as comfortably. The work of years and years of recovery shot to hell, but I won't drink. I won't give you that.
