Brilliant tactic number 2: emulate FDR, sell your plan to the nation
It looks to me like Obama has taken his strategy from FDR's playbook.
Don't waste time arguing inside the Beltway, when you can take the issues to home districts.
Force the reluctant to face their constituents.
Result: The only way that Republicans can win is by coming up with better solutions to address the problems.
Result: Problems solved in most effective manner.
