I am sorry Carl.

I never worked outside the home for money, respect or benefits when I had children. When they got a little older I would clean houses in the neighborhood...but I was always close by. I would cut hair on the side...pick up kids from school..babysit....anything for an extra buck.

I learned how to stretch a dollar at the grocery store too....Buy one get one free...double and triple coupons. No convience foods. When we treated ourselves to a pizza...I always picked up the order instead of delivery...a large one topping cost $5...actually still does here. I would also ask for screw ups or no shows...and I could always count on a couple or 3 extra pizzas for free.

Coffee in an automatic drip machine can be run through twice...adding one extra scoop for the second round.

It can become a game....
