And 1861 INSCRIPTION in Abe's Watch
When Fort Sumpter was invaded, his ABE's pocket watch was in for repair and the watch maker inscribed how well it is to have a government, fast forward to 2008 and the great grandson of the watchmaker wants to lay a rumour to rest about the engraving so he asks the SMITHSONIAN to take a peek under the back of the watch and BINGO!!! it's there after 150 yrs, yet Abe knew nothing about it...
