re: Question and food poisoning

Nope, sorry marsby, My real names John, and I'm a postgraduate at Manchester Met uni in England. I'm interested in making things grow on mars, but I'm of two minds about full terraforming. I like the idea of mars having it's own character, and terraforming could loose that.

Socrates I'm a big fan of people in space. There are jobs a machine still can't do as well, and I just plain like the idea of people up there doing things, even when a machine might be better! The article I gave the address for seems to be talking about the relevance of what has been learned about salmonella to things here on earth, which is why I liked it; it shows how research in space can have an impact here.
