And a reply. What a gracious guy!

I've known one celebrity well, and he would answer letters on occasion. Every once in a while in public he'd deny being who he was in order to have some privacy, but normally he was quite gracious.

I fired off a complaint to Bob Schieffer of CBS News once regarding an interview with Madeleine Albright which I regarded as having been "blown", and he responded. I assume it was he, as it was replete with bad typing and he signed it.
