After dumbing down "victory" in Iraq, Afghanistan is next.
"Defining Victory Down"
No matter how Conservatives want to define it, "victory" means not having to fight any more. "Victory" does not mean having to maintain an enormous army in place to suppress the population. Most of the time it is not considered a "democracy" if a foreign, occupying army is necessary to protect the government from the people. That's just obvious.
Now it's Afghanistan.
What a mess. The legacy lives.
