Yes, they are inscrutable.
The light saber Darth duel is my favorite, although all those gun and sword-toting poses are somehow vaguely disturbing, too. The Japanese are an extremely talented people with a highly refined sense of art and beauty, but they remind me a lot of Klingons, too.
