"Drudge Report" headlines that the Russians and Chinese are suggesting an international currency as a replacement for the dollar. Now I truly don't understand the implications of that, though it sounds ominous.
However, CNN, Reuters and BBC have ignored the matter, don't have any stories I can find.
It seems to me that if those suggestions were serious and had serious implications there would be stories all across the board.

"China calls for new reserve currency." By Jamil Anderlini in Beijing"
"China’s central bank on Monday proposed replacing the US dollar as the international reserve currency with a new global system controlled by the International Monetary Fund."
"The Moscow Times. At G20, Kremlin to Pitch New Currency."
'The Kremlin published its priorities Monday for an upcoming meeting of the G20, calling for the creation of a supranational reserve currency to be issued by international institutions as part of a reform of the global financial system.'
I wonder what it means.
