Ah the mountains in sunshine after a new snowfall!
Breathtaking (and if you are at a high enough altitude and/or low enough temperature, literally!)
I spent some time in in southeast BC and loved the intensity of everything when it was like that... the clarity of the air, the colour of the sky, the brilliance of the mountains is impossible to convey to someone who hasn't experienced it.
Elkford has some big trucks, too, for their open-pit coal mines.
