I will remember how much it took to get to where we are.
It was within my own lifetime that human technological progress was considered something wonderful. The word "progress" wasn't said with a sneer. Even the communist nations covered their posters with skyscrapers, factories, power lines, and technological achievements.
The "march through the institutions" has done its work. Americans are now taught to apologize to the world for what we've accomplished.
There are millions of people on this planet already in the dark who wish they had a choice in the matter.
