100 Hours of Astronomy
Starting tomorrow morning....100 Hours of astronomy...
2 years ago, when I found out about it, I though "My club must do something about it"....And on saturday late afternoon, I'm giving a lecture about 400 years of telescopes, from Galileo to the VLT.
I'm preparing a powerpoint presentation (several weeks ago, I attended to the lecture of a real astronomer and she also talked about the same subject and I realized it wasn't a field I'm that familiar with)....We'll see....After the lecture, we have a supper then we observe from a parking lot...with not too much light pollution, I'm told.
