AI Routine Analyzes Pendulum Data & Discovers "Laws"
Pretty neat if so. An 'AI' program fed the datasets from pendulum motion, "discovered" the physics laws of motion. If, and it's a big if in my mind, the program isn't unconsiously and subtly hard coded and if it is truly scalable as claimed, it might be usefull in exploring today's huge datasets for undiscovered mathematical relationships. I think this breakthrough is quite possible although note from the article that similar successes have been claimed in the past but came to nought.
