Bigga badda boom

That could be but look at this thing, this is no small impact crater. This is a 25 km crater bottom, with a 10 km primary impact field, Ed. We're looking at a km or two of something possibly mostly ice and carbon impacting at least a km or two of mostly ice at an angle at less than thirty degrees. Whether or not that was catastrophic locally for the ice sheet or not are things which will have to be determined, but this needs to be confirmed or denied, or explained away in some other way, some sort of ordinary prosaic catastrophic ice sheet melting, and I just don't see it. Unless of course catastrphic ice sheet melting is an ordinary thing, who knows. What I see here freaks me out, somtimes I think I'm just hallucinating and wish I had never actually discovered this thing.
