I used to let my hamster...
play in the bathtub all night....no water of course.....figuring that he could not get out because the tub was smooth. I would set his food and water in there and he had a blast...heh...as if I can speak hamster...anyway I forgot to take up the bath mat one time...so he crawled up the mat and got out...crawling under the sink cabinet. I could not get him out...so I sat there and made a little *chee chee* noise...well! That little bugger had to see what was going on...and I scooped him up...safe and sound...gee..I wonder what I said to him??;)..maybe I CAN speak hamster after all!!!
