The Electric Power Industry Is So Out of Date, that It Would Be Impossible to Sabotage Electronically.
Power engineers are incredibly conservative. Walk into the control room of an electric power plant. You will NOT see guys sitting at terminal. Instead, you will see old-fashioned electro-mechanical gauges operated by programmable logic controllers, a 50 year old technology. Grids are generally not computer controlled, but manually controlled by people who are watching obsolete needles.
There are some advantages in being behind the times.
