Trump followers have invested a great deal; all that schadenfreude, all those I told-you-sos, all that angst about what's going wrong, all that fear and loathing and insecurity and disappointment and helplessness and how easy it will be to fix it, how all it will take is a little common sense and a little guts, and a little straight talk from a real no bullshit businessman. Its going to be so easy and then everyone will know and have to admit they were right after all.
But 66 million smarty pants, wise-ass, arrogant, conceited, glib know-it-alls never bought the painting, and they have the audacity to remind you that you did.
