US eases Cuban travel, money restraints

WASHINGTON – In a measured break with a half-century of U.S. policy toward communist Cuba, the Obama administration lifted restrictions Monday on Cuban-Americans who want to travel and send money to their island homeland.


The first step in bringing down Cuban Communism is to promote trade, communication, and tourism BOTH WAYS. When Cubans become aware of how much better Americans live, how much freedom we have, etc, they will grow to resent the regime in power, and will ultimately remove it.

It was the opening of the USSR to trade and tourism that brought about its collapse. The same thing will work against Cuba.
