There is no problem we might communicate to ET that will not either be solved, or have killed us all, by the time we receive an answer.
What no one seems to consider is that our primary purpose in SETI is to find out if we are alone in the Universe. Any ETI is likely to have learned the answer to that question a long time ago.
In fact, interstellar communication may already be so routine for them they may not even bother to turn an antenna in our direction. Our message may just be Spam as far as they're concerned.
