Was it the aging baby boomer who turned to Caddys and Buicks and Toyotas for the trips to the country club? Dust buster shaped vans like the TRANSPORT made outa plastic? 35k dollar G6's that were front wheel drive and fell apart after 3 years? The failed attempts by short sighted management trying to re-vamp the GTO line basedon an Austrailian platform? Being a kid of the 60's and going into the local showrooms and sittng in the bucket seats of a 1965 GTO only are memories now, but in it's heyday Pontiac's ruled and were a step above the Chevys and Mopars and Fairlanes of their times. Oh well, only memories remain and the aftermarket suppliers like YEAR ONE should be busy keeping the old cars on the road welli nto the next century.
What KILLED GM'S Pontiac Divison?
