Why didn't SOMEBODY in the US Military of all places at least
consider the possibility that New Yorkers might become a bit alarmed
about a jumbo jet flying 1,000 feet over the city with two F-16s on
its tail?

911 isn't even eight years old yet, so it's not like the memories have
faded. Plus there are still those two big square pits in the ground in
Lower Manhattan.
