Some things I noticed about Texas and my neighboring states.
I had no idea that Louisiana highest point was above 500 feet.
Okalahoma has small mountains in the middle and eastern sides, but its highest point is on its western plains.
I always thought the Appalachian were higher than Texas’ highest point, but they are not.
Aransas mountains are not much higher than the Texas Hill Country.
New Mexico ranks 8th with its highest point- I thought it would be shorter. I am also surprised that the Dakotas highest points are so low, especially North Dakota.
