Is not mushing together in a single category groups that routinely engage in violent activity with groups that simply have certain ideas that are not currently politically correct. Does "alternative media" really belong in a list of "extremists?"

The focus of these things should be on actual consistent patterns of criminal activity, not ideologies alone. "Pro-lifers" and "abortion bombers" are not a congruent set, any more than "environmentalists" and "Earth-first saboteurs."

I figured eventually that being against too much centralized government would become "crimethink," but I didn't think I'd be around to see it.
