Bored.com has a game that's all the rage among our middle school customers, Pandemic 2. They have been killing the population of the Earth for over a week.
Yesterday, one of the girls became extremely upset that she hasn't been able to annihilate Russia yet. I asked if they had closed their borders. "No. It tells you if they do that." I suggested climate might be a cause: "Russia can be very cold. The cold beat Napoleon. It might beat your virus." She narrowed her eyes. "Maaaaybe...."
