Dyson has been on this kick for a long time

Good to keep in mind when listening to his nonsense denying global warming.

I used to work at Denali National Park in Alaska where I saw lots of Arctic poppies. Sitting on a mountainside you can look down to thick brush growing in the valleys. Higher up is a thin turf of grass. Above that, rock. Look closer at the rock and you'll see a few tiny plants, mosses, and lichens scattered, but the biomass per unit area is dropping by magnitudes every thousand meters. Go higher, and it's just rock, snow, and ice. Life has its limits.

You can't find Arctic poppies above 2000 meters in Central Alaska, and you won't find them on Europa's surface.
